Description: “PacMan” is one of the oldest games ever made. “PacMan” itself has a place in the history of games. “PacMan” is an arcade game created by Namco and licensed for distribution by Midway. It was first released in Japan in 1979 and it had a huge success. Immensely popular from its first release through today, “PacMan” is universally considered as one of the classics of the medium, virtually synonymous with video games, and an icon of 1980s popular culture. After so many years, this small game still can be highly addictive and entertaining.
But what is the idea behind “PacMan”? Basically, all you have to do is to drive your character (smiley) through a labyrinth and collect every small dot. Each dot represents 10 points. After you collected all the dots, you can advance to the next level. Each level is identical. However, you are not alone inside this labyrinth. There are 4 more characters which are going to kill you if they catch your smiley. The AI of these characters is quite good and they are not just wondering around. They are actually trying to find and catch you.
This is the flash version of the popular “PacMan” game. The basics are the same but this flash version comes with a better graphic. This version comes with several levels and a high score table.

Controls: The controls in “PacMan” are extremely simple.
Arrow keys to move your PacMan around the labyrinth
P- Pause and unpause the game
Q- Quit Game
M- Mute and unmute sound
L- Low Graphical Quality On/Off.
It is advised to use low quality if your “PacMan” game is running slow.

Hints: The basics on this flash version are the same as in the original PacMan game.

1. On each level, you have four big glowing dots. When you eat one, the “ghosts” will change their color to blue and start to run away from you. During that time, you can eat them and gain points. More, the ghost that was “eaten” will withdraw back to the spawning point. Use those four dots wisely.

2. PacMan is a game of skill and patience. Don’t rush in. Always use the safest route and don’t take any chances. You have an unlimited time to finish each level.

3. From time to time, there are some fruits that spawn in the middle of the labyrinth. Eat them to receive additional points.

4. Each ghost you kill, will award you 200 points. Killing multiple ghosts in a row will double the amount of points that you receive: 200 points-> 400 points-> 800 points-> 1600 points. Use that in your advantage when possible.

5. Keep an eye on the ghosts that are re-spawning. Even if the blue color is “activated”, the re-spawned ghosts are immune to it.
